After a fantastic days rest in Lake Tahoe and meeting some really nice people I made it back to the trail.
For the past section or so the snow had started to melt out leaving hiking the trail a bit easier or at least faster. Over the past week or so I have managed a 29 and 27 mile day and hope to get some 30's in soon. However the 29 nearly finished me off I think possibly due to lack of hydration salts. I am trying to raise the average days mileage to 25.

So why hike possibly the longest completed trail in the world. The answer is in the question!
What a fantastic trip so far. The animal count so far

6 rattlesnakes, many other snakes.......racer, gopher
2 scorpions and yes lots of ants and mossies
On the next updates I will include some day to day stuff and gear.
