I have got a bit slack recently on the blog due to catching up with work and family matters but I have every intention of keeping this going. I have another amazing trip in mind for 2010.

2009 is nearly over. What a fantastic year it has been in terms of my last 2700 mile hiking trip...the PCT. I am sure you will have read some of the stories I filled out while passing through a town or after the trip. Hiking the long American trails has been a very fulfilling and rewarding experience leaving me to dream of those airy high mountain passes with inspiring views in every direction. I have learnt a lot along the way about the trail, people, flora and fauna, history and ofcourse myself. If you have the dream of taking an extended journey somewhere I would thoroughly recommend you do it. When you return the town will be just the same and everyone will still be running around with not enough time for life. At least if you live in the city. A true sense of freedom is out there waiting for you in the backcountry.

It's not set in stone yet but I hope to hike some of the Canadian Rockies next year along the continental divide. I will be blogging about my extensive research, preparation and planning for this amazing adventure.
