Have you heard about this act? It is currently being discussed in Parliament by our elected members. It concerns the preservation, development and access to our coastline in the future.
The Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009
My hope is that it will move things forward for a national scenic trail around the whole of the UK's coastline. Whilst we may not have the vast expansive areas that the USA has, we still have a tremendous and beautiful coastline rich in a diverse flora and steeped in historical importance.
At present the longest trail in England is The South West Coast Path
I am struggling to find a link to the national scenic coast path in the UK. Maybe there is not one at the moment!
